Some of My Favorite Quotes
I read somewhere... how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong... but to feel strong.

No longer to be poisoned by civilization he flees, and walks alone upon the land to become lost in the wild.

So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Surely all Americans have the right to give their money only to those causes which they support. But what kind of society has this created? A society where the ignorant reign. A society where enlightened must hold their tongues. A nation whose politicians must profess half-hearted devotion to an ancient fable or face the disastrous consequences of speaking their true mind.

Some people feel like they don't deserve love. They walk away quietly into empty spaces, trying to close the gaps of the past.

The core of mans' spirit comes from new experiences.

If we admit that human life can be ruled by reason, then all possibility of life is destroyed.

Rather than love, than money, than faith, than fame, than fairness... give me truth.

I think careers are a 20th century invention and I don't want one

There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes,
By the deep sea and the music in its roar;
I love not man the less, but Nature more.

It should not be denied... that being footloose has always exhilarated us. It is associated in our minds with escape from history and oppression and law and irksome obligations, with absolute freedom, and the road has always led west.

I have lived through much and now I think I have found what is needed for happiness. A quiet, secluded life in the country with the possibility of being useful to people...

Death's a fierce meadowlark: but to die having made
Something more equal to the centuries
Than muscle and bone, is mostly to shed weakness

..the sea's only gifts are harsh blows and, occasionally, the chance to feel strong. Now, I don't know much about the sea, but I do know that that's the way it is here. And I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong, to measure yourself at least once, to find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions, facing blind, deaf stone alone, with nothing to help you but your own hands and your own
WAIT
For 2,000 years we have wandered
We have been nomads
When will we settle
We must not be fooled of the lives and homes we have built here because that too shall change
Our location is not permanent
Permanent is the soul we have buried inside of us
Some may have houses and truly believe they are here for good but we must not learn from them because they are lost souls
We have the mezuza that reminds us that were not here for good
We await for our real home
We await the eagle that longs to reveal itself
We await our messenger to lead us
We await for our G D who awaits us to clean up our act
Who awaits who
So we wait
So I wait.......

Musically Changing
Until about 2 years ago i wasn't into good music. I had songs on my ipod that were predictable for someone my age. I did however branch out even back then, i was listening to rock and contemporary stuff, a little bit of opera. I did and still love music that is not very famous. I hate famous music i feel as if it gets misused constantly. So 2 years ago, i cant really remember how, but i stumbled upon a song that i really loved. It was by iron and wine called he lay in the reins. Now i don't know if it was this song that got it all started but lets just say it did for the sake of conversation. It was this song and blue skies by r-strays don't sleep from then on i started to get into good music. I discovered artists i never knew about and genres that i never would have thought i liked. I let this one song in and the rest just came to me. Whenever i hear a song and i like it i will move heaven and earth just to get it. A lot of the songs i hear and like, sometimes don't have lyrics or i don't remember the lyrics so it makes it that much harder. I'm not going to lie it is hard work tracking down the songs i like but in the end its worth it, a lot of times its not available on limewire or even on itunes so you have to search on the Internet and beg someone to send it to you, sorry different story. i remember this one time i fell in love with a song and it was in spanish so i checked dozens of Spanish websites and tried to find it. The only problem was that i didn't know Spanish and still don't know Spanish. I ended up buying this album that i thought might have this song on it. Turns out that it wasn't there. After several months of searching for this song, yes months, i found it on this spanish forum that suggested that it might be this song and keep in mind that YouTube wasn't really famous when i was searching, it i didn't have these songs that i can look for so easily. Oh yea the song was called Una palabra by Carlos varela. After liking a couple of songs that weren't "normal" i found more and more and became obsessed. I barely have any contemporary songs on my ipod anymore and i delete songs like crazy all the time because its just too much. i have 1,200 songs on my itunes and i love them all. Most of it is soft and some are opera, it's all different types of genre and that's what i love about it. Another one i went crazy for was kid by pretenders, the live version in this pub, amazing song. All I'm saying is try some new songs that you might not have tried before and let it fill your heart. You wills see that you will love it.
Some artist are: Yael Naim the pierces, iron and wine, coldplay, snow patrol, Andrea bocelli, Michael bubble, frank Sinatra, the killer, Taylor swift( i know famous) , Carlos Santana, x-ray dog etc.
Hectic Day
Phew was today a hassle. Hey guys, i decided to talk about my life from now on. Not every day but every now and then. I've been experimenting with make up look lately and i think i like it. I'm not very into make up but I do like doing it, not so much other people because I don't really know what they like and I'm no make up artist. I experiment on my skin and know what looks best on me and not others so it's going to look different on them maybe better and maybe worse. I never volunteer, only if someone asks then I say o.k, my sister is a lot more talented in the art department then me so she's more creative with the make up I'm very into neutrals and smokey eyes. Don't get me wrong i know make up or at least i think i do and i know how to do it and i like it some people might not and some people may like it. Can't please everyone right. Anyway oh yea back to the topic, today was exhausting and i just want to crawl up in bed and sleep but cant because i need to study. Do you ever feel like you need so much but when you stop and think about it you don't need it. You just need it to improve your life but it doesn't improve your life, it doesn't at all so why do we need it? Something that I have been dwelling in for a while. Like these clothes wont make me happy for long i just want it to make me look better, but do i really want to be judged on the outside and not on the inside. Todays my friends birthday and she turned 17 i can't believe she's 17 it seemed only yesterday i was calling her Margaret, even tough thats not her name. That's just my thoughts at the moment and I'll chat with you later. Bye.
Try Something New
Have you been wanting to make a change but don't know where to start, well I can help you.
This month is change month on my blog, so I will be putting up posts on how to improve your life in a series of categories. Remember you don't know how something is until you try it, even though you might think that it's a bad idea or a bad thing for you, you will never know until you try it. Now I'm no expert but this is my mindset and the way i like to do things and the way I think it works bets for me. Just my preferences, things I enjoy and what works for me and my life and who knows it just might work for you. Try reading something new listening to new music etc. Until next time, have a great day.
Book Review
Hey Guys
I'm so sorry that I have been M.I.A lately but i was really busy with life. So today is a review about a book. Confessions of a Shopaholic is an amazing book. It was very different then the movie and there is a whole series which I will be reading shortly. It's about a financial journalist Rebecca Bloomwood living in London,England who has a addiction to shopping and is trying to pay off her credit card debt. Along the way she meets a couple of millionaires who she may or may not fall for. She doesn't give 2 craps about fiancees but has to stick it out for the money. In the end she uses her financial skills to help out some old friends. This book is truly a delight, I finished it in less then a day and it's extremely enticing and very easy to read. You see how she procrastinates and makes something negative into something positive, well at least when it comes to shopping. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a laugh and needs a little sparkle in their life. Until next time, Have a good one.

Sadams Gone For Now

Sadams Gone For Now

In the midst of his lucid dreams

From the battle of his teams

On the lazy ocean frontiers

Like

Fallen brothers

A squashed fly

An intruded sanctuary

Dying

Rest peacefully now hes gone

MY VIEW ON SOCIETY

SOCIETY

The sea's only gifts are harsh blows and, occasionally, the chance to feel strong. Now, I don't know much about the sea, but I do know that that's the way it is here. And I also know how important it is in life not to necessarily be strong but to feel strong, to measure yourself at least once, to find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions, facing blind, deaf stone alone, with nothing to help you but your own hands and your own head. With todays day and age everyone is pressured to be like each other or the next person on the catalog ,steeping even lower then addicts. Most addicts know there addicted but the "followers" don't even know that its wrong. So I ask a question is it better to be poisoned by this society or better to live in the wild.

I believe that homeless people have more fun then the average human being yes they do not have homes and yes most don't have money but they are adventurist and every day is like a new one. What I mean by this is that everyday is the same routine and the same responsibilities and a homeless person has no worries but the basics , food ,water and shelter. He is not exposed to the life of luxury as we are. All we ever want is more and more. I am not to be excluded of course. I too have faults like any other being. But rather than love, than money, than faith, than fame, than fairness... give me truth. But in this society is that even possible. You see If we admit that human life can be ruled by reason, then all possibility of life is destroyed.

I believe that it is better to live within the circle of truth. Circle of truth is when you know what you are up against and your "peers" do to and will try everything in their power to stop the unfortunate ways of life. Basically when you know what is beneath the surface. When you know what reality and what is fiction. I have come to a conclusion and that is that based on this essay. That this society is poisoned by lies but you didn't need me to tell you that. I think you might have figured that out already but I fear that it is too late. Beneath this skin there is more than flesh. Beneath this skin there is an idea and ideas are bulletproof. I've heard that ideas can change the world so why not this one. To change the way we think to think as the selfless ones why cant we be like them. No longer to be poisoned by civilization i want to flee, and walk alone upon the land to become lost in the wild.

Disclaimer: I used quotes that are not in quotations because I wanted it to flow.

Fight or Flight

FIGHT OR FLIGHT

Many soldiers enlist in the army and are rewarded in money and honor. But when you are stop loss you suddenly feel hurt and betrayed by your country. What once was a privileged is now a burden. You see stop loss is when you fulfill your time in war and the army needs more soldiers so they extend your time in the army. Soldiers feel trapped and miss their families dearly. So what do they do ? Either they fight or they flight.

When someone talks about the quote "Fight or Flight" it either means you'll stay and fight this battle or flight , you'll run from this battle. This "response" is an answer to stress believe it or not. When one is stressed you ask yourself fight or flight (Adrenaline). But in this case it means the complete opposite. What I'm asking here is not if you'll fight for your country because technically you already did. I feel any more then that is not fair. It's validating your contract and ones trust. It really makes people question the government and how sick and twisted their minds really are. There is a fine line between duty and favors. What a soldier dose is not a duty it's a favor. What I'm asking here is will you stand up for yourself and for your family and "flight". Many soldiers feel violated so they do what they have to do to get away from this. They run , they try to escape from the army to go home as they were once promised. Some decided to fight and stay with the army while all their friends go on home. You are left behind either to live or to die. So now were left with a question. Who is right in this argument and who is wrong. Are the soldiers right for staying and being loyal to their country and military commander. Or are the people who run to escape the burdens of war right?

Really there is no right and no wrong. Many might feel that the people who run are being arrogant . Some feel that the government is selfish and disloyal. Some feel that it's an obligation to serve. Some feel its an honor. Everybody has opinions and everyone does what they think is necessary. I believe that ,even though you put in their own two cents , that soldier couldn't care less and will do everything in his power to protect himself and his family.

Pride
Hey Guys
So this is one of my book reviews and I'm reviewing a classic called Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen I have to start off by saying that the book was slightly difficult to understand because of the wording but once you get into it, it justs come naturally. I really recommend reading it it's such a brilliant book. The way Mr.Darcy just changes throught out the book is so inspiring. He turns out to be a round character rather then a flat one which is expected of him. Jane Austen delivered an amazing story and should be and is commended by it.
Writing
Hey Guys
So I haven't got the video up yet but I'm working on it. I decided to get highlights and as soon as I get them I'll show them to you. Any way I just wanted to make up for the delayed video so here is one of my short poems I wrote, and reply with honest opinions.

Fear

Breathing like star struck

Shrieks came and left like gasping

Chills ran down my back

New Song
This is a song I wrote in the summer and it was based on a song from one of my favorite bands, can anyone guess, leave a comment and tell me if you do.

The scary thoughts I hear
Have gone for the day
Some peace at last
Nothing can disturb but....

G-d's tears are dripping on my heart
Because this guilt just won't part
And no matter how I pray
This feeling still remains the same

The fog in my bathroom mirror
Are like endless days
Foggy and misleading until
You clean up your view

You see it in her eyes
Why don't you point out the lies
And no matter how she cries
You remain unsatisfied

G-d's tears are dripping on my heart
Because this guilt just won't part
And no matter how I pray
This feeling still remains the same

G-d must be crying here
G-d must be waiting here
Cause the guilt, the guilt's alive 2x

Your so approachable
I cant even speak
So I'll show you the beauty of a lesson well learned

G-d's tears are dripping on my heart
Because this guilt just won't part
And no matter how i pray
This feeling still remains the same

G-d's tears are dripping on my heart
Because this guilt just won't part
And no matter how i pray
This feeling still remains the same

I've been going through a really tough time and today was the worst news I have ever heard in my whole life and she was there to pick up the pieces. So thank you for being there for me and when i felt alone and hurt you comforted me and told me it was going to be o.k when we both knew deep inside that it wasn't.
